Assistant Store Manager - Lamar, CO
DescriptionThis position requires a detailed, team player, team builder, who brings a positive, enthusiastic attitude to the workplace every day.
Must be hands on and a participative manager with outstanding people skills.

years of Retail Experience is preferred, Management level experience is desired.
RequirementsProvide friendly & helpful customer service at all times.
Possess a positive attitude and professionalism.
Greet and assist all customers in the store.
All associates are expected to conform to the scheduled work hours and shifts set by Store Management.
Must be capable of working on their feet for long periods of time, and capable of Standing, Walking, Bending and/or Kneeling, consistently throughout the workday.
All associates should be capable of pushing, pulling and/or lifting up to 30 pounds without assistance consistently and sometimes 50 pounds throughout the workday.
This position requires the applicant to be at least 21 years of age to adhere to Background Check requirements.
Background Check will be required - any irregularities must be approved by management.
Additional Responsibilities (not all inclusive):
General cleaning and upkeep of all areas of the store.
Assist customers and co-workers, when available, throughout the workday to include inventory stocking and control and department upkeep based on Company directions.
Answer phones, 2-way radio calls, make announcements over PA system, with clear, pleasant and professional methods of communication.
Computer & Point of Sale system knowledgeincluding transaction processing, product lookup, inventory verification and availability.
Will be responsible for supervision of employees including creating and distributing daily assignments, training new employees, and cross training employees for other departments.
General knowledge of store products is desired - including Tack, Pet Supplies, Feed, Sporting Goods, Hardware, Automotive, Clothing, Boots and Accessories.
