MAINTENANCE WORKER Under supervision, performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled manual labor in the construction and maintenance of streets, water and sewer lines, parks, buildings, and other municipal facilities; drives truck and operates light equipment; assists higher skilled craftsmen as a trainee; may occasionally serve as lead worker over seasonal workers.
Work tends to be routine and subject to close supervision.
